Ajay Kumar is a dedicated industrialist and environmentalist, always keen on doing something meaningful for the world. Deeply connected to nature, he strives to preserve the environment while fostering sustainable development.
His journey took a significant turn in 2019 when he became deeply inspired by the immense potential of biofuels and green energy. Motivated by a vision to create a greener, more sustainable future, Ajay committed himself to building solutions that contribute to society by promoting green fields, bringing green energy back to communities, and actively reducing the global carbon footprint. With this passion, he established NatureJoules, a company dedicated to driving innovation in renewable energy, focusing on transforming non-edible resources and industrial waste into clean, sustainable power for the world.
Naturejoules developed Advaita Biofuel, a BIS 1460 diesel equivalent biofuel capable of fully replacing fossil diesel. Ajay's vision is to expand this innovation to every corner of the world, making it a better place to live without hindering modernization and development.
Before embarking on this new path, Ajay had been a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and had been in practice since 2009. His decade-long practice provided him with deep knowledge of finance, which he now leverages to drive the financial sustainability of Naturejoules along with its research on biofuels.
Ms. Sugandha Poddar oversees strategic initiatives and operations at our company, pioneer in biofuel-production. Previously, she served as a Consultant at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, for seven years, providing policy recommendations and contributing to India's Foreign Trade Policy through comprehensive analysis of global trade data and research insights.
Earlier in her career, Sugandha held roles as a Research Associate at the think tank NCAER, focusing on economic research and policy formulation, including contributions to a government white paper. With a strong academic background and extensive experience in economic policy, she brings a wealth of expertise to the biofuel industry, blending entrepreneurial acumen with a dedication to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
